ABOUT PEGGY
Peggy Jean Evans lived with the resilience and grace of the tulips she so dearly loved—always turning toward the Light. A woman of unwavering Baptist faith, Peggy didn’t just speak her beliefs; she lived them. While she worked hard in her earlier years , her spirit was defined not by her career, but by her "South Habersham" roots and her deep love for simple joys.
Peggy was a devoted homebody who believed that the best place to be was surrounded by family. Her heart was most at home in the quiet comfort of her apartment and the joyful noise of a full house. She didn't need a physical garden to see beauty grow; her family was the garden she tended with prayer and devotion.
To her children, she was a foundation; to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, a source of endless love. She was a constant reminder to us all that love grows best close to home.
